Kaitlyn was a good and responsive host, and the location of the stay in Colorado Springs is convenient—close to stores and restaurants. However, the room didn’t quite match the photos and fell short of expectations. The kitchen lacked basic starter supplies, which made it difficult to manage even simple meals. Most concerning was the room temperature—both the thermostat and portable AC unit weren’t working, which made for an uncomfortable overnight stay. While the host was kind, the amenities and setup didn’t reflect the listing, and I hope future guests have a smoother experience. Good place, but needs some maintenance. I found Kaitlyn to be exceptionally responsive and very helpful when I needed something. It's very easy to check in and she was very kind throughout the experience. The unit’s water was not working when I first arrived. Very inconvenient and left me waiting several hours for alternative. Was told that a maintenance team was supposed to fix it. They did not show up. Host provided an alternative option, which was not clean or put together. Did not feel safe in the alternative place’s neighborhood. The second place looked as if it was just used, as it was not put together nor clean. Spent 4 hours trying to resolve the problems. Ended up having to book another reservation elsewhere entirely. Requested full refund as I did not stay at either unit, due to their lack of functionality and safety and cleanliness. Was told that I was only able to get a 30% refund for one day. Will not book thru this company ever again. Have contacted AirBNB regarding refund settlement.
