The unit’s water was not working when I first arrived. Very inconvenient and left me waiting several hours for alternative. Was told that a maintenance team was supposed to fix it. They did not show up. Host provided an alternative option, which was not clean or put together. Did not feel safe in the alternative place’s neighborhood. The second place looked as if it was just used, as it was not put together nor clean. Spent 4 hours trying to resolve the problems. Ended up having to book another reservation elsewhere entirely. Requested full refund as I did not stay at either unit, due to their lack of functionality and safety and cleanliness. Was told that I was only able to get a 30% refund for one day. Will not book thru this company ever again. Have contacted AirBNB regarding refund settlement. Unfortunately came due to a close loss and funeral, hoping for a little peace but ended up booking a live-action obstacle course. Early check-in? Denied. Sympathy? Missing. One sad blanket for a place meant for more than one person; hope you enjoy cuddling the cold air. Upstairs neighbors sounded like they were training for the Elephant Olympics. The neighborhood had gorgeous mountain views… if you looked past the homeless shelter and police station. Communication was fast but felt like texting a robot. Blow-drying my hair set off the smoke alarm, so at least I know the safety features work. Would recommend if you enjoy chaos, cardio, and character-building vacations! Very nice place as described, very clean downtown is near so I was close to everything. Host was very responsive would definitely stay again! I'm standing house excellent value property was as expected needed to extend stay and host accommodated easily would definitely recommend this place and I plan to stay here again
