Babysitter recommendations
Overall, Kaitlyn’s place had everything we needed. It was easy to find and check in, the space was clean and spacious enough for our family of three. The neighborhood was run-down, though, and it felt unsafe. Other than that, it was a great stay for us. I have never stayed in an air bnb home quite like this one - unique, one might say!
This home is in an unsafe, rundown, neighborhood backing to the railroad tracks and an alley where shacks are arranged using trucks, trailers, old campers etc.
While I did not see any bugs inside, several lay dead on the front porch, where an old mattress was stored behind the bench.
It is located one street north from the rescue mission.
The air conditioner cooled to 71 degrees only, it is a stand up AC unit - loud and the top fan is broken, so some black electrician tape was used to make a fan for the air output?
On Sat. Evening (3rd night of my stay) there were gunshots in the neighborhood.
I checked out the next day, ending my time one day early. The house has been updated but still gives an awesome feel of antiquity The king sized bed is very comfy and welcoming. Amenities are basically what u would want or need when the time comes. I can’t even articulate how cool, responsive, informative, sweet, and friendly Kaitlyn had been. Oh well, I just articulated it without thinking. She’s the “real deal” and absolutely 100% on her game. If you’re not spoiled to “fancy”or “conservative living,” but want “cozy” then this is a great place for you and someone you can bond with. Also, It’s a short Uber/Lyft , or bike ride from downtown. I’d recommend it to my friends and I just may stay there again in the future. Truly, Rodney M. C
