The space
A shared building entrance and staircase lead up to this private apartment in the pines, minutes north of the Air Force Academy. Vaulted ceilings and a deep green accent wall give the main level its character, three bedrooms across two floors keep the group comfortable, and the shared patio and hot tub sit out among the trees.
🛋️ LIVING ROOM
Vaulted ceilings lift the main level, where light hardwood runs beneath windows set on two levels that pull daylight through the room all day. A deep green paneled accent wall anchors the staircase, its wood newel posts and wrought iron balusters standing as the architectural centerpiece of the home. Sofa seating and armchairs gather around a rustic coffee table on iron casters with a wall mounted Smart TV in easy view, and the sofa folds out to a sleeper when the group runs large. A wood dining table sits alongside beneath warm recessed lighting, close enough to the kitchenette that the cook is never out of the conversation. Multiple mini split units are placed across the apartment, keeping each room comfortable no matter the season.
🍳 KITCHENETTE
Granite counters run the length of the kitchenette, paired with slate blue shaker cabinetry and clean hardware. A full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and an electric skillet in place of a stove or oven cover everything a stay requires. A complimentary coffee station with pods and a complimentary spice rack are stocked and waiting for you.

Pack-n-play and high chair available. Fox Run Regional Park is a few minutes away with two playgrounds, a gazebo, and easy trails through the trees.
🧺 LAUNDRY
In-unit stacked washer and dryer, tucked into a hallway closet just outside the bathroom on the main level. Pack light and let the trail clothes cycle through.
🌲 OUTDOOR SPACE
A shared stone patio opens off the back of the building beneath towering pines, with a dining set, additional seating, a grill, and the hot tub set out at the edge of the pavers. The forest runs right up to the edge of the stone, and evenings out here are long and quiet. The patio, hot tub, seating, and grill are shared with the neighboring guest unit and are not used by the residents living on the property. Please note the yard is not fenced and opens directly to the surrounding woods.

Two dedicated parking spots are reserved for this unit. Please note that the garage is not available to guests.
Guest access
🔑 Property Access: You have full, private access to your entire upper level apartment, including the living area, kitchenette, both main level bedrooms, full bathroom, in-unit laundry, and the upper loft. The shared building entrance and staircase lead up to your own locked door. The patio, hot tub, seating, and grill out back are shared with the neighboring guest unit. Please note that the main level apartment is a private home with residents living there year round, and it is not included with this stay. The elevator is not available for guest use.

💵 Additional Fees
Damage Protection: A damage protection option is required for all reservations and is processed through our third-party system prior to arrival. Before check-in, you'll choose one of two options:
Damage Waiver: A non-refundable fee from $25–$40/night (max $200), covering accidental damage beyond normal wear and tear, up to $500. Most guests pick this, and nothing is held on your card.
Security Deposit: A fully refundable hold from $350–$1,000. This is a pre-authorized hold (not a charge) that is released following a damage-free inspection after checkout, typically within 7 business days.
Amounts depend on the home and length of stay. This is handled separately from your reservation payment.
Optional services like early check-in, late check-out, and extra guests can be arranged on request, subject to availability. These cover the cost of reworking the cleaning schedule or bringing in a second cleaner. Please message us ahead of time for pricing and availability.
⏰ Check-Out Policy: To respect our cleaning team's schedule and ensure the home is perfect for the next guest, unauthorized late check-outs are subject to a fee of $20 per 30 minutes. We appreciate your understanding!
