Had trouble getting in using my code on the door(s), but the response was quick and there was a key available. Love the neighborhood. It’s very walkable with my dog with several trails close by. I absolutely loved my stay here! The location was perfect and so close to the trails I was planning to explore. I really appreciated the little touches, like having spare gas tanks for the grill. The hot tub was also a great bonus and so relaxing to use. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the AC worked amazingly well. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back!

We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful historic Colorado Springs home! The location was perfect—close to downtown while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. We especially loved the beautiful backyard and enjoyed spending time out there in the mornings. The beds were incredibly comfortable—we fell asleep as soon as our heads hit the pillows! The house was well-maintained. The host was extremely responsive including about getting a plumber to unclog a drain in a bathroom. The fact that there was a long eating table and kitchen island made it special - plenty of kitchen work space and everyone could sit together at one table.The views are breathtaking. And the location is idea to the Midland Trail system, the Arkansas River, and downtown. Hope to utilize it again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay! The house has plenty of room, is well laid out, and decorated to feel comfortable and thoughtful of everything you need. The traffic from the road was more than we expected but the sound from the river, amazing star gazing from the upstairs deck, and convience of walking out and fly fishing was fantastic. Christopher is a great host with proactive communication, helpful early check in and even recommendations on which flies to use for fishing. We appreciated him and his great place for a short family getaway and would recommend.

The River House was a perfect landing spot for us after long days fly fishing Deckers.  It felt like home away from home.  We enjoyed a glass of wine on the front patio and broke bread at the kitchen table each evening.  The soothing sound of the water from the river led us to sleep well each night. Highly recommend for others looking to explore the beautiful Deckers area, with the comforts of a squeaky-clean, clutter-free newer home with plenty of space for multiple guests. Using the app was a last minute decision due to hotels not being in close proximity to our jobsite. His responsiveness took away all the anxiety. The River House relieved the pains of the hard work that the crew and I endured all day. Coming back to house after work was very peaceful and relaxing. The river is close, so you can sit on the deck or patio and see and hear the tranquil sounds of the flowing waters. Definitely a great location for the dedicated fly fishermen and outdoor enthusiasts.
