The space
A shared building entrance and staircase lead up to this private second level apartment, set among the pines just north of the Air Force Academy. Vaulted ceilings and windows on every wall pull the forest into the room, and out back a shared patio and hot tub sit in the trees.
🛋️ LIVING ROOM
Vaulted ceilings lift the main level, where light wood flooring runs beneath tall windows framing the pines outside. A deep navy accent wall anchors the staircase, its wood handrails and black wrought iron balusters standing as the architectural centerpiece of the home. The seating area gathers around a wall mounted Smart TV, with a sleeper sofa that folds out when the group runs large and a wall mounted mini split holding the temperature wherever you set it. A pedestal dining table sits alongside beneath warm recessed lighting, close enough to the kitchenette that the cook is never out of the conversation. Soft gray walls and crisp white trim keep everything calm and uncluttered.
🍳 KITCHENETTE
Speckled granite counters run the length of the kitchenette, paired with gray shaker cabinetry and brushed hardware. A full size refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, and hot plates in place of a stove or oven cover everything a stay requires, while the microwave sits on a rolling butcher block cabinet in the dining area, within easy reach of the table. A complimentary coffee station with pods and a complimentary spice rack are stocked and waiting for you.

Pack-n-play and high chair available. The loft gives kids a level of their own, and the patio opens straight into the pines with plenty of room to run. Fox Run Regional Park is a few minutes away with two playgrounds, a gazebo, and easy trails through the trees.
🧺 LAUNDRY
In-unit stacked washer and dryer, tucked into the hallway just outside the bedroom. Pack light and let the trail clothes cycle through.
🌲 OUTDOOR SPACE
A shared flagstone patio wraps the back of the building beneath towering pines, with a dining set, additional seating, a grill, and the hot tub set out among the trees. The forest runs right up to the edge of the stone, and evenings out here are long and quiet. The patio, hot tub, seating, and grill are shared with the neighboring guest unit. Please note the yard is not fenced and opens directly to the surrounding woods.

Two dedicated parking spots are reserved for this unit. Please note that the garage is not available to guests.
Guest access
🔑 Property Access: You have full, private access to your entire second-level apartment, including the living area, kitchenette, bedroom, full bathroom, in-unit laundry, and the upper loft. The shared building entrance and staircase lead up to your own locked door. The patio, hot tub, seating, and grill out back are shared with the neighboring guest unit. Please note that the main level apartment is a private home with residents living there year round, and it is not included with this stay. The elevator is not available for guest use.

💵 Additional Fees
Damage Protection: A damage protection option is required for all reservations and is processed through our third-party system prior to arrival. Before check-in, you'll choose one of two options:
Damage Waiver: A non-refundable fee from $25–$40/night (max $200), covering accidental damage beyond normal wear and tear, up to $500. Most guests pick this, and nothing is held on your card.
Security Deposit: A fully refundable hold from $350–$1,000. This is a pre-authorized hold (not a charge) that is released following a damage-free inspection after checkout, typically within 7 business days.
Amounts depend on the home and length of stay. This is handled separately from your reservation payment.
Optional services like early check-in, late check-out, and extra guests can be arranged on request, subject to availability. These cover the cost of reworking the cleaning schedule or bringing in a second cleaner. Please message us ahead of time for pricing and availability.
⏰ Check-Out Policy: To respect our cleaning team's schedule and ensure the home is perfect for the next guest, unauthorized late check-outs are subject to a fee of $20 per 30 minutes. We appreciate your understanding!
