Our stay at Lost Springs was lovely. The hot tub was out of commission and the basement TV didn't work but those things weren't imperative to my families needs for our stay. <br/>The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with all the needed supplies to cook meals, and the beds were so comfy! It was perfect for our quick getaway. Wish we could have stayed longer, didn’t get a chance to try the hot tub out Good amount of space for a family of four. Honestly we only used the upstairs area. Quiet area up in the north part of Colorado Springs. It’s an older style house in an older neighborhood, but it suited us fine. We found this rental to be ' just okay'. This house needs A LOT of TLC. The master bedroom has the worst bed we have ever slept on. It's extremely hard/ like on the floor. The box springs on both upstairs beds have such big holes in them, that it makes the mattresses sink heavily in the middle. The top plugs on the outlets in the master bed do not work; so you have to either move your bedside items across the room, or unplug the lamps (from bottom plug) and then you can't see. The neighbor (or a visitor there most of week) openly wore his gun on the outside of his hip, even when just working on his car outside. We were moderately comfortable with this but realized that others may definitely not be. We would not stay here again. We've stayed in better rentals for less money. The positives: Pretty backyard view outside. Quiet street. No bugs. House was decently clean. Kaitlyn does quickly respond, but a simple binder with extra instructions would be very helpful.
