- 2026-09-16T22:57:31Z · 5/5: The location and house were absolutely beautiful! And it was perfect to use a a home base for a large family wedding! Only a few things to mention. It’s not really ADA accessible, so if anyone has mobility issues it is something to consider. But the pictures show the amount of stairs. Additionally, I would bring your own toiletries as they were inconsistent. Some rooms had shampoo, some conditioner, some had body wash, but only 1 had all 3. Minor issue and I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone!

The host was very responsive and helpful. The house has everything that you could think of. Extra towels, plenty of dishes, even kids dishes.. I love the fact that there was actually a small playroom for the children. I would recommend this place to anyone with a large group. We will definitely look into renting this again in the future.

- 2026-08-17T19:48:16Z · 5/5: The Avenue was an amazing place to stay for our group of 10 friend's coming from Texas to visit. It was a Big Chill weekend (without the coffin) of relaxing on the amazing front or back porches, cooking in the spacious kitchen or watching 80’s music videos in the two family rooms. There were more than enough bedrooms and bathrooms for couples and singles. The carriage house was a bonus for a couple wanting extra privacy. The location in town can’t be beat and we walked to great dining and shopping. Thanks for the hospitality we had everything we needed and appreciated the decor and history with modern updates.
